Disco Diva Peter pan Collar (FLATTERBUY), Jumpshorts (Online Store), Bangles (Hag Stall), Open tToe Black Wedges (Mario D' Boro)

One fine Thursday afternoon, I came up with this attire! Do you know how hot in here now? It's summer time here! My outfit was just right for the weather and the plain appearance of this tube jumpshorts went great together with my disco diva peter pan collar from FLATTERBUY (Read my post about this detachable collar HERE) Have you notice how that detachable collar spice up my outfit? No need to accessorize more. I just add one bangle to add some more style.

I remember that day i went to a mini dress store at our place and I heard the gay said to his boss "Ate tingnan mo mauuso na yan, (pertaining to my detachable collar) ilabas mo na yung item natin na ganito (showing a plain top with a plain black detachable collar). Oh see! They got inspired by my disco diva detachable collar. And yes, it made me smile. :) Thanks to FLATTERBUY!

A Peter Pan collar is a flat, round-cornered clothing collar. It is named after the collar of the costume worn in 1905 by actress Maude Adams in her role as Peter Pan. Since then, it has become a women's fashion item several times, and is particularly associated with little girls' dresses.

BALENCIAGA FALL 2012 RTW

Hello All!!! While planning the next episode of The Elisa Show, I realized that I needed to have a fashion pick of the week. Of course, I turned to the best place for runway updates, New York Mag Fashion. While looking through the collections, I asked myself "What will I want to wear this fall?" And Balenciaga was the answer. With the color blocking alone, I was smitten. I also loved how Nicolas Ghesquière added that puffed up silhouette to pencil skirts and fitted harem like pants. It felt like anime female warrior, in a good way. Or even more simply put, a tomboy who realized she had to grow up and just had to carry some of her childhood sensibilities into her new stylish life. All and all, I LOVE.
